Looking into the Future of Creativity and Decision Support Systems. Proceedings of the 8th international Conference on Knowledge¸ Information and Creativity Support Systems”

The Proceedings reflect the full scope of the 8th International Conference on Knowledge, Information and Creativity Support Systems (KICSS'2013) held in Kraków, Poland in November 2013. It contains 63 articles authored by 119 outstanding international experts. All papers were individually peer-reviewed by 2 to 4 reviewers. KICSS conferences provide a highly reputable forum for researchers as well as for IT practitioners to share new ideas and original research results. Following the tradition of previous conferences from this cycle, KICSS’2013 covers the most relevant aspects of knowledge management, knowledge engineering, decision support systems, cognitive and collaborative aspects of creativity, intelligent information systems, and creativity in an information technology context. The focus theme of this book is “Looking into the Future of Creativity and Decision Support Systems”. As a result, the list of conference topics included for the first time future-oriented fields of research, such as anticipatory networks and systems, foresight support systems, relevant newly-emerging applications such as autonomous creative systems. Also included are areas of future research such as general creativity. In addition, several papers presented the results of the recent foresight project SCETIST concerning the future trends and scenarios of selected artificial intelligence and information society technologies until 2025. research and development areas for knowledge, decision and creativity sciences are also determined and practical development New experiences in all the areas mentioned above are shared.
