The participation of the President of the Foundation - prof. Andrzej M.J. Skulimowski in the 2nd Sopot Conference on Modelling Contemporary Economies, 21-22 June 2021 (virtual)

The aim of the conference organised by the Faculty of Management, University of Gdansk in Sopot, Poland is to integrate economists who work on modelling and forecasting contemporary economies and to create a forum for the exchange of ideas and experience gained during the research. The other aim is to educate young research staff.

Primary conference topics include:

  • General Equilibrium and Growth
  • Consumption and Saving
  • Labour Markets
  • Production and Investment
  • Prices, Business Fluctuations and Cycles

  • Financial Economics
  • Health, Education and Welfare
  • Labour and Demographic Economics

albeit papers from all fields in Economics and Finance are welcome.

The results of the foresight projects implemented by the Foundation will also be presented at the conference. The speaker will be President of the Progress & Business Foundation prof. Andrzej Skulimowski -  (Session 6B), topic of the lecture "Technological Evolution Modeling with Hybrid Control Systems and Multiround Expert Delphi".

Conference language: Polish and English.

Special session (workshop) for Ph.D students is planned.
