On behalf of the organising institutions, we would like to invite you to attend the Joint Research Centre Info
Day, which is taking place May 27th 2004 in the AGH University's main auditorium (A0 Building, al. Mickiewicza 30 Krakow). The organisers of
the event are Directoriate General of the Joint Research Centre by the European Commission, the "Progress & Business Foundation" with strong support from the AGH University of Science
and Technology in Krakow, and National Contact Point of the European Research Projects.
The Information Day will be devoted to the presentation of JRC activities
and its offer to Polish science society like scholarships, trainings,
job opportunities, and joint research projects. A number of sample
scientific and research projects led by JRC with Polish participation will
also be presented. Especially the air quality monitoring project, devoted to research on air quality's influence on human health in the Krakow
region. This project has a key meaning for European Union, and the technologies,
software and methods developed during its realization will be disseminated in
all UE member countries.
After the Info Day events, in the afternoon, the "Progress & Business
Foundation" invites you to the "Polish FISTERA Roadshow" workshop,
a seminar about foresight in Information Technology.
